Hana Hope’s “Hearts Glow” Illuminates! TV Anime ‘Sayonara Lala’ Non-Credit ED Video Revealed, Plus New Single & Live Tour Details!

A Glimpse into ‘Sayonara Lala’ Through “Hearts Glow”

‘Sayonara Lala’ is an original TV anime commemorating the 15th anniversary of Kinema Citrus, the renowned studio behind hits like ‘Made in Abyss’ and ‘My Happy Marriage.’ Inspired by the fairy tale ‘The Little Mermaid,’ the story unfolds 200 years later as the mermaid princess Lala reawakens in Lake Biwa. The newly released non-credit ending video beautifully captures the anime’s serene atmosphere. It features the acoustic band sound and Hana Hope’s clear, dignified vocals, complemented by high-quality, exquisite visuals crafted by illustrator MON, who handles the deep-sea imagery, and director Moaan. The video subtly expresses the lingering emotions of the story.

Hearts Glow Hana Hope

Hana Hope’s Message-Filled Single “Hearts Glow”

“Hearts Glow” is a powerful message song from Hana Hope, starting with a quiet acoustic guitar intro that expands into a grand band sound. It’s a deeply personal song about embracing one’s true self and wishing to remain authentic, acknowledging that it’s okay to be different. Hana Hope shares her thoughts on the song and its connection to Lala:

“Lala, the protagonist of ‘Sayonara Lala,’ leaves the mermaid world to step into the human world. Having grown up with two nationalities, I sometimes felt like I didn’t belong anywhere when I was little. Both parts of me are important, but sometimes it felt like I didn’t quite fit into either world completely. The song’s title, ‘Hearts Glow,’ means ‘the light of the heart.’ And the ‘wild glow’ in the lyrics is that unique radiance everyone possesses, which might seem a little different from the outside world. Through this song, I realized that singing my true self without hiding was my place of belonging. This song is a precious letter to everyone who feels lost and to Lala-chan. Never let go of your light; that wild glow in your heart will surely become a beautiful hearts glow that connects with someone.”
